The Decatur-Athens Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated will be hosting its 5th Annual Father~Daughter Gala on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Springhill Suites, 745 Constellation Place Drive SW, Huntsville, AL 35801 from 7pm to 11pm. The Father~Daughter Gala will celebrate the bond between fathers and daughters while providing an elegant atmosphere for fathers to treat their daughters of all ages like princesses, with dancing, dinner, and laughter.
The Father Daughter Gala Event is designed to be an avenue by which fathers or male role models of daughters in all age categories, races and backgrounds come together to celebrate and strengthen the father-daughter bond. Every father needs to “date” their daughter, and every daughter needs an example of how a young lady is to be treated by a man. Professional photography, Music, games, and more are offered to enhance this wonderful experience. The Father~Daughter Gala promises to be a powerful and unforgettable experience for young girls, young ladies, and ladies young-at-heart to spend time with Dad on this special evening.
Fathers welcome their little bundles of joy into the world and into their lives. They nourish them and proudly watch them grow into beautiful young ladies. Then the day comes when their little girl “flies away” and begins her own journey through life and they realize how quickly time moves on. There is no doubt that the bond between fathers and daughters is unmatched and amazing. On Saturday, June 9, 2018 we hope to recapture and rekindle some of those precious memories fathers have shared with the “little girls” in their lives.
