The Oakwood University Biology Department presents the 3rd annual Leverage Your Science Degree Alumni Lecture Series. Leverage Your Degree was created in response to the nationwide trend of students hoping to seek careers in STEM fields. Alum with unique journeys and careers will be sharing their stories, both the trials and triumphs.
This year we have been blessed to have Dr. L. Rudy Broomes, Oakwood Biology class of 1961, and a retired distinguished life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association to share his journey. The event will take place Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Oakwood University Church Family Life Center, 10 AM – 12 PM. Continental breakfast will be provided.
