The Heart & Stroke Association, now have a national presence on their site for Huntsville Alabama & Madison County. Huntsville resident Phoebe Steele suffered a stroke in May of 2017 and rehabbed at Crestwood Hospital, Amedisys, Health South (now Encompass) and currently Therapy Achievements was not able to find support in a group setting to share, motivate and celebrate all of this new normal that she had to work her way from. Once the missing piece was identified, she made a vow to camaraderie outlet for people with suffering with Heart & Stroke Disease. February 2019, American Heart & American Stroke Association launched Huntsville on their national site. There is a Community Event & Fundraiser to support the free-stand group policy of the American Heart & Stroke Association.
