Commissioner Will Speak to Veterans at AAMU
Madison County Commissioner JesHenry Malone will deliver the address as part of Alabama A&M University 13th Annual Veterans Day Program on Thursday, November 8, in the Ernest L. Knight Reception Center at 12:30 p.m.
Commissioner Malone is a native of Monroeville, Ala. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps following high school and rose to the rank of Sergeant before separation. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, for which he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and several other honors.
Malone joined the Huntsville Police Department in November 1997. He is currently West Precinct Commander for an area comprised of some 80 square miles and a population of 83,000.
