Organizing For Change Justice Rally and Mayoral Public Action

by

Faith in Action Alabama:  This timely rally is being organized to bring awareness of spiritual, political, economic, and social justice imperatives that mirror the growing diverse needs of our community at large. Additionally, Mayor Tommy Battle has been invited to make a public statement that details his support of Implicit Bias Training for the Huntsville Police Department. Finally, the rally seeks to garner public support for two economic measures to end grocery tax and legislate a universal trade school bill that will provide economic relief and job opportunities for Huntsville citizens. These particular measures can improve the lives of all people across race, faith, and class.
Representatives from Local Faith Congregations, Civic Groups, and Organizations moving economic justice policy, voter engagement, criminal justice reform, and immigrant rights will speak at the rally.

Join us as we seek to improve the lives of all those in our community through civic engagement on important issues!
