The #1 City in America Celebration
Join Downtown Huntsville, Inc. (DHI) and the City’s Parks & Recreation Department and Music Office for the #1 City in America Celebration on Thursday, Aug. 25, from 5-10 p.m. on North Side Square. Everyone is welcome to attend the free event, which will include live music, an LED light experience, outdoor games, food, local artisans and more.
“Taking the #1 spot on the 2022-2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Place to Live survey has been significant for not only downtown, but all of Huntsville,” Mayor Tommy Battle said. “As summer comes to a close, we invite all of our citizens to this celebration to show what makes Huntsville, Alabama, so unique.”
Attendees will enjoy live music from the following artists:
- Billy Allen & The Pollies – 6:30-7:30 p.m.
- The Lamont Landers Band – 8-9:30 p.m.
Dray Labored will serve as Master of Ceremonies during the event.
