Artist of the Month: Buisi Nwade
Buisi Nwade is a singer/songwriter, community leader, and international speaker. A native of Queens, NY and first generation American born to Nigerian parents, Nwade has a kaleidoscope of cultural experiences and historical perspectives that overflow into his diverse musical style and topics. As such, Buisi has had the opportunity to travel the world as a soloist and also alongside other groups and choirs such as the world award winning classical choir, The Oakwood University Aeolians, as well as Terrell Hunt, Jamel Strong, and Mark Bunny. He’s also written for the likes of rapper, Kareem Manuel, gospel choir, Mission Worship; and worked with Grammy award winning producer Kelvin Wooten. He also serves as the Pastor of the Ephesus SDA Church in Columbus, OH.
Buisi’s debut single “Great Grace” is an example of how his music searches the heart of God and the depths of relationship with him and he is currently working on his first full project. It is Nwade’s aim to create music that connects cultures, captures hearts, and creates opportunities for people all over the world to be inspired.
