Ebony T. Holland is known most notably in the gospel industry as 1/3 of the Grammy nominated, award-winning vocal trio Virtue. And while music is still her passion and career she is duly faceted in her passion for teaching young minds. With that in mind Ebony has just released the soon to be best-selling book Superstar Teacher: A Guide to Enhance Creativity in the Classroom! Ebony has been and educator for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oakwood University (formally Oakwood College) and Master’s in Education Administration and Supervision from University of Phoenix. Ebony has now put all of that knowledge of being an educator in the classroom and equally being in front of a live audience into practical application with this amazing guide for teachers.

When asked how she balances both a career in the Gospel industry and a career as a full-time teacher—The number one lesson she’s learned is that preparation is the key. “As a singer, I can’t get up on stage without rehearsal, sound checks, or vocal lessons. As a teacher, the same applies, I must find the perfect lesson, differentiate for each student, learn my student’s needs, and practice what I’ll say before I get up in front of my audience which so happens to be my students. Being prepared helps me to become more creative, organized, and engage my students with meaningful lessons, therefore making them life-long learners.”
