Meet Paula

Hi my name is Paula Sanders Blackwell. I am a native of Birmingham, Alabama. I currently live in Houston, Texas. I am the wife of Redell Blackwell, the love of my life. Our lives began in 2014 so we are still newlyweds. Together we merged four kids and a dog.

I am the daughter of a Minister and Nurse Practitioner. I attended Bass Memorial Academy and graduated in 1986. I attended Oakwood College (later it became a University). My parents were almost killed in a car accident in 1989. After coming home and taking care of them, I graduated from Stillman College.

I am an educator and entrepreneur. I teach my students to use the skills I teach to further their independence. I love reading and I love writing.
