Oakwood Farms will offer seminars on “How to Grow Your Garden,” beginning in June 2017. Each participant who attends all four sessions will receive a Garden Education Certificate. The classes are $30 each, or $100 for all four sessions. Classes will be taught by Oakwood Farms Master Gardener/Farmer Artis Sidney. Class size is limited.

1. Session One: Selecting a site, testing soil, container gardens.
2. Session Two: Composting weed management, enhancing growth, insect control.
3. Session Three: Green housing, ground maintenance, cover crop.
4. Session Four: Taste blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and view muscadines, grape vines, walnut trees, pecan trees, cherry and fig trees.
